Marta's Second Letter

Marta is having a wonderful time in the MTC and does not seem to be a bit home sick, as week thought she might be. She says it is the best place for her to be, and we totally agree. Her testimony seems to be growing by leaps and bounds. The Spanish language has at times been difficult for her but she has seemed to overcome those difficulties without too much trouble as she already can pray and share parts of her testimony in Spanish. She is very smart. We tell her to keep up the good work and of course to stick to the rules. Of the latter, we aren't especially concerned. Her second letter is included with this post and we will post pictures from the MTC along with her first letter shortly. Sorry for the delay, and I guess you would want to read her first letter first but we have had some technical difficulties.

Marta Departs For The MTC

As many of you know Marta Brewerton was recently called to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We were very excited to hear that she had been called to serve in the Chile Concepcion South Mission. She was very excited and about as equally as nervous to enter the MTC on Wed. August 1st 2007.

Marta has spent the last the last year (with much effort) preparing to go on a mission. She gave a wonderful talk a week and a half prior to her departure. We have recieved her first letter and will post with pics soon.
